It feels good to eat well
easy snack ideas for you and your family.
Lemons
Lemon Balls
 
1 cup of almond meal
1/2 cup of dessicated coconut
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/2 lemon juiced
4 tsp honey or rice syrup
 
Add all ingredients into food processor or bowl and mix well until combined, roll into balls using hands and place into fridge for 30 minutes before consuming. will last 5 days in the fridge.

Traditional Bread Wrapped in Paper
Banana Bread
2 cups of spelt flour (or flour of your choice)
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1/2 cup of honey or rice syrup
3 very ripe bananas
2 eggs
1/2 cup of almond milk
1tsp of cinnamon
1/2 cup of walnuts crushed
 
Preheat over to 180 degrees Celsius, and line a loaf tin or cake tin.
Add all ingredients into food processor or bowl and mix well until combined.
Pour into tin. Bake for 45 minutes, checking regularly as cooking times may vary based on your oven. Once skewer test completed, remove from oven, sprinkle with cinnamon and top with crushed walnuts. Serve cold or warm.

Banana bunches
Peanut Butter Banana
1 banana
1 tbsp of peanut butter
 
Slice banana and add spread of peanut butter to each slice and serve.

Healthier Hot Chocolate
1cup of milk of your choice (I used coco quench)
1 tsp cacao
1 tsp coconut sugar or brown sugar
 
Measure milk in your cup, and pour into sauce pan, heat on medium heat for about 2 minutes but monitoring regularly not to burn. Afer 30 seconds add cacao and coco sugar and stir vigourously until all mixed.
